Staff members: Install EndNote on a university computer yourself

If you are a University of Melbourne staff member, you can install EndNote yourself on a university-owned computer, using the Software Centre (Windows) or Self Service (Mac) application.

Staff working on university computers have their home/personal drive stored on OneDrive. Please note cloud storage tends to corrupt EndNote libraries. Visit the following page for recommendations.

Windows:

Follow these instructions on how to install software via the Software Centre

Mac:

Follow these instructions on how to install software via the Self Service Portal for Mac

Students and staff: Ask IT to install EndNote on a university computer

If you cannot access the Software Portal (Windows) or Self Service (Mac) on a university-owned computer, you can ask IT to install EndNote for you:

After EndNote has been installed on your university computer, you should check for updates, and that the EndNote toolbar for Word has been installed.
