Eastern Resource Centre Collections

The Eastern Resource Centre collections support the teaching, learning and research needs of undergraduate students, graduate students, and researchers from the:

  • Faculty of Science
  • Faculty of Engineering and IT
  • Faculty of Medicine Dentistry and Health Sciences
  • Asia Institute, Faculty of Arts

Collections in the ERC Library are part of a significantly larger off-site print collection and readily accessible online collections.  The starting point for any information or item search is the library homepage.
Textbooks, Prescribed and Recommended Readings for students are located in multiple libraries, depending on their content.

  • To locate prescribed hardcopy textbooks, check in the library catalogue via:
    • Subject code or name
    • Textbook author or title

Items in the ERC library have locations in the catalogue that begin with UniM ERC and can be found on Level 2 or Level 3.

In storage off-campus

Many older items are held in storage and you can make a request for them to be delivered to a library branch of your choice. These items have location codes in the catalogue that begin with:

  • UniM Store: items held in a library storage facility off-campus.
  • UniM Bund: items held in the library's storage facility in Bundoora.
