The Library subscribes to an extensive range of visual and audio materials to support your teaching.
Streaming audio
Use the University Library's online audio streaming server Subsonic to deliver copyright compliant audio tracks to students via your Learning Management System (LMS).
Online audio collections
The Library subscribes to a range of online audio collections that you can use to create listening lists in your LMS, including:
- Audio Drama: The LA Theatre Works Collection
- Australian Composers Collection on Minerva
- Music Online – Alexander Street Press which includes: American Song, Classical Music Library, Contemporary World Music, Jazz Music Library, Smithsonian Global Sound for Libraries.
- Naxos
Radio Recordings
Reproduction and recordings of radio programs can be arranged with Learning Environments.
Streaming Video
The Kanopy Streaming Service is the main platform for the delivery of streaming video. Kanopy provides access to full length movies, documentaries and supports off-air television programs.
Television broadcasts, films and education videos can be sourced online and embedded into the Learning Management System as streaming videos.

File conversion
In some cases format conversion for videos and other media can be arranged with Learning Environments.
To request conversion of VHS to digital file or DVD, please submit an online request.
