For Students
Finding your textbooks and recommended readings
If your subject uses a print textbook or hard-copy versions of readings, these materials can be found in the High Use areas of campus libraries. Your subject may have two different types of readings. 'Prescribed Readings' are compulsory for your coursework. 'Recommended Readings' have been set up by your lecturer to complement your coursework.
High Use areas are usually located on the ground floor of our libraries for quick access. Items in High Use collections have different location codes for each library, which are outlined below for each faculty/school.
