Summary

University of Melbourne corresponding authors are eligible for a 10% APC discount when publishing open access in some Taylor & Francis journals.

The discount applies to Open Select (hybrid) journals excluded from the Taylor & Francis open access publishing agreement. It also applies to journals covered by the agreement after the annual open access publishing cap has been reached.

For eligible titles, see the CAUL titles list, reflected in our spreadsheet of all journals with APC discounts.

How to use the discount

When possible, corresponding authors should use their unimelb email address (@unimelb.edu.au or @student.unimelb.edu.au). This email address should be used in the publisher's submission platform and all correspondence. This allows for easy verification of affiliation.

Related agreement

The University has a Read and Publish agreement with Taylor & Francis. In 2025, this covered a limited number of open access APCs for eligible authors in most hybrid T&F journals.
