Journal coverage
Unlimited open access publishing for University of Melbourne corresponding authors in hybrid APA journals. The agreement covers APA-published hybrid journals indexed in APA PsycArticles.
Covered journals are reflected in our 2026 all covered journals spreadsheet. They will also be included in CAUL's 2026 title list.
Journal exclusions
APA's fully open access journal, Technology, Mind, and Behavior, is not covered by the agreement. Journals from other publishers indexed in APA PsycArticles are not covered. This includes APA-hosted journals from the Canadian Psychological Association, Hogrefe Publishing, and the National Institute of Mental Health.
Eligible authors
To be eligible, the article's corresponding author must, at the time of submission, provide their University of Melbourne affiliation. This must be their first and primary affiliation in the publishing system and in the article itself.

How to use the agreement
To be eligible, the corresponding author must, at the time of submission, affiliate with the University of Melbourne. This must be their first and primary affiliation.
When possible, the corresponding author should use their unimelb email address (@unimelb.edu.au or @student.unimelb.edu.au). They should provide this in the publisher's submission platform and use it for correspondence.
