Tips for this reference type

  • Cite reports and pamphlets as you would a book. You may choose to include additional contextual information in your reference list citation.
  • Titles of pamphlets, reports(see 8.188 ), and similar freestanding publications are italicised in the text and in citations (see also 8.170).
  • For sources consulted online, a URL or DOI should be included .
  • Sometimes a suitable URL is not available, or is only for subscribers of the database. In these cases it is appropriate to just include the database name (i.e. eBook Collection) (Manual 14.60).
  • For online sources, include a publication date (or date of modification/revision). If no such date can be found, include an access date.
