The Flip it Open programme launched in 2023 after the successful open access books pilot in 2021.

Description

The Flip it Open programme funds the conversion of Cambridge University Press titles to open access through typical purchasing revenue. Once a nominated title reaches a predetermined revenue threshold, it will be made freely available on Cambridge Core and released as an affordable paperback.

Sales of all formats contribute to the target to flip a title, including individual and institutional sales in both physical and electronic formats.
