Louise Hanson-Dyer Music Library and the Lenton Parr Library collections moving to Southbank Library
From Monday 14 January the Louise Hanson-Dyer Music Library and the Lenton Parr Library collections at the ERC Parkville will be on the move to their new home at the Southbank Library. Access to Level 2 and the Collected Editions on Level 3 at the ERC will be unavailable. If you require an item please ask staff at the ERC Service Desk.

The Copyright Office will be delivering information sessions about the recent amendments to copyright legislation. Baillieu Level 2 redevelopment - Stage 1 now open
The redevelopment of Level 2 of the Baillieu Library has reached its half-way point. The newly renovated south and central spaces are now open, offering a variety of seating with power. Books in the 400s, 500s, 600s and 800s have been moved to the new space and are fully accessible.

APPLICATIONS OPEN: John Truscott Fellowship
The Fellowship is a partnership of the John Truscott Design Foundation and the University of Melbourne Library. The Fellowship is awarded to a scholar or writer to prepare a manuscript biography of John Truscott (1936 – 1993), best known for his work in film and theatre design, as well as an artistic director. A major legacy of John Truscott is the interior of the Victorian Arts Centre, where much of his original work remains intact.

Baillieu Library renovations 2017
Following on from the creation of our extensive new study space at the north end of the Baillieu's ground floor, additional project rooms and study spaces are now being constructed in our ground floor south space. Further renovations will follow on the second floor between March and November, to create a light, bright space with more seating (and more power points!).
