Important! Past exam papers date from 1998 to 2019 and may contain outdated or irrelevant information. For current exam preparation, always refer to the exam information provided for your subject by teaching staff in Canvas.

This collection contains only those exam papers that University of Melbourne departments have given permission to be deposited in the University Library Digital Repository. Due to assessment changes over the past few years, no new exam papers have been uploaded to the collection since 2019. Therefore not all University of Melbourne exam papers are held in the Examination Paper Collection. Also examination solutions are not included.
It is recommended that students direct enquiries about current exams and assessment to subject teaching staff.
If teaching staff would like to make sample or old exam papers available to students, it is recommended that the papers be uploaded to the subject’s LMS site.

Access Conditions
All exam papers are restricted resources in the Course Work Collections and are only available to be used by University of Melbourne staff and students.
When accessing exam papers students and staff will need to login using their University of Melbourne email login and password. Login via the link at the top right of all the Examination Paper Collection pages.
More Exam Papers
The Baillieu Library Microfilm Collection contains exam papers for the years 1970 to 1998 (Call number MIC/o M517).
These can be printed from microfilm printers.
Special Collections also holds an archival set of exam papers from 1858 onwards.
