High Use and library use only collections

Only university staff and students can borrow items from our high-use collections. 3 hour loan High-Use items can't be renewed but feel free to borrow another copy, or the same copy, once it is returned to the shelf. 7 day loans can be renewed up to ten times (or a maximum of 70 days).

These items have a location of 'High Use' in the library search.

Hourly loans

You can borrow 2 items at a time.

3 hour loans borrowed overnight:

You can borrow 3 hour loans overnight if you borrow them within 3 hours of closing time. They are due back one hour after opening time the next day the library is open.

Overnight loans

Overnight loans will be due back one hour after opening time the next day the library is open.

Library-use only collections

Some items in the collection are designated as reference or library-use only and are not able to be borrowed. These items can only be used inside the library.
