International universities

The University of Melbourne is currently transitioning to a new library system. As a result, new Community Memberships are temporarily unavailable. We anticipate new Community Members will be able to join in late July 2026.

Please check this page in late July for updates on when Community Memberships will be available.

If you're a student or staff member and wish to borrow at an international university we can request borrowing privileges on your behalf.

Please visit one of our Service Desks, or ask us via Library Chat or 13MELB, so we can put you in touch with one of our librarians who can write a letter of indemnity for you to take with you.
