Have you ever wanted to know the differences between traditional Chinese and Western medicine?
Dr Angela Yang (Chinese Medicine, RMIT) and Dr Shiqiu Liu (Curator, Learning Beyond Borders) invite you to join a demonstration of traditional treatments such as cupping, ear pellets and acupuncture, as well as a discussion on the use of traditional Chinese medical books and herb medicine in contemporary practice. Find out more about the theory that inspired Thomas Chong to collect the instruments, herb samples and other research materials presented in Learning Beyond Borders, and see first hand how traditional Chinese medicine is practiced.

Dr Angela Yang is the coordinator, lecturer and PhD supervisor in Chinese medicine. Her research focuses on clinical effects and mechanisms of Chinese medicine for chronic conditions through network-based investigation which links to drug discovery.
