The Werribee Library has a collection of high-use books which are kept in the library office. These are mostly available for overnight or 7 day loan.
The library also has a collection of CDs and DVDs which are kept in the library office and are available for 24 hour loan.
Max Henry Memorial Collection
The Max Henry Memorial Collection is held at the Werribee library. This collection is on 15 year loan from the Australian Veterinary Association Historical Society.
Items (except rare or fragile items) are available for 28 day loan to University of Melbourne staff and students, and Australian Veterinary Association members.

Most Veterinary Science journals are available as e-journals and are accessible through the A-Z eJournals List or the Library Catalogue. The easiest way to check whether the Library holds a particular journal title is to search for the title.
The small number of journals still held as print are shelved alphabetically by title in both Veterinary Science Library locations.
Many older journals are shelved in University of Melbourne Library off-site storage facilities. These journals can be retrieved from storage upon request via the Library Catalogue.
Theses Collection
Printed copies
University of Melbourne theses not available online are also available for viewing in the Cultural Collections Reading Room in the Baillieu Library. You need to submit a request to view a thesis using the online form.
All University of Melbourne PhD and Masters by Research theses are included in the library catalogue and are identified by T.
To find theses on a particular topic, select ‘Theses’ from Advanced Searches list on the Library Catalogue and enter your keywords which can be titles, authors, subject.
Online copies
Many recent theses as well as some older theses are available online. To look only at these use the University of Melbourne Institutional repository.
You can search for theses and enter the faculty or department name in the "Faculty/Department" field e.g. veterinary science
