This webinar, delivered by Faculty and Liaison librarians, is intended for graduate research students and academic staff at the university. The session aims to bring staff and researchers up to date with the current state-of-play regarding using research metrics to demonstrate research impact in grant applications, grant reporting and job or promotion applications.

There will be time during the webinar for questions and answers.

The topics include:

  • University of Melbourne’s position
  • Requirements of major funders (ARC, NHMRC)
  • Overview of prominent tools: discipline coverage, functionality, weaknesses
