Issue with EndNote's find full text feature resolved
EndNote's find full text feature uses four methods to search for full text documents: Web of Science Core Collection Full Text Links, DOI (Digital Object Identifier), PubMed LinkOut (U.S. National Library of Medicine), and OpenURL.
There was an issue with one of these methods: OpenURL.
This issue has now been resolved.
This means that you are now more likely to find the full text PDF for a reference using EndNote's find full text feature.
However, if EndNote does not find the full text you can try the following:
- Select the reference.
- Select the menu option: References > URL > OpenURL Link.
- This will open the Source it @ Melbourne page for the reference, which will list any databases the university subscribes to that contain the full text.
- If the full text is available, save it to your computer and attach it to the reference.
If you notice any further issues with EndNote please: let us know.
