Information Services and Library Spaces work with Project Services and Campus Services through every phase of a major or minor Library redevelopment.
The Project Services Construction team project manage the redevelopments and take overall responsibility for each project. Information about how this is achieved can be found on the Project Services website. The Project Services Construction team assigns a Project Manager to manage each redevelopment.
The Associate Director for Information Services and Library Spaces manages the projects from the perspective of the Library as client, including following up with Project Services about issues that arise both during the project and in the project defects period. We also act as a service provider for project outcomes and are responsible for negotiating with relevant Library managers to ensure that library work commitments to the project are effectively identified, resourced and delivered.
The team often works with Library senior managers, relevant Faculty academic and student service representatives, library staff and other stakeholders as required.
