There are three collections available on ERC Level 2.
The Louise Hanson-Dyer Music Library Collection is one of the leading music libraries in Australia. It is one of a number of University of Melbourne libraries and is open to students and staff of all faculties. The collections are diverse and comprehensive and include books, musical scores, journals, sound and video recordings, and a library of solo, chamber, orchestral and choral performing materials. For information on locating music scores, see Finding Music Scores.
The Visual and Performing Arts Collection is from the Lenton Parr Library (Southbank). It is located on ERC Level 2 temporarily while the Southbank Library is refurbished in 2018. This collection consists of Reference and lending collections in visual arts, music, music theatre, dance, film and television, and theatre. For information about these collections
The ERC DVD Collection is located in the north-east corner of level 2 and arranged by Dewey Decimal number. A small number of DVDs are, at the request of a lecturer, available for 3 hour use in the library only. This is indicated on the library catalogue, and these can be requested at the Service Desk on Level 3.
