The Architecture, Building and Planning (ABP) Library is located on the Parkville campus. Its collection specialises in the built environment. It has bookable computers and project rooms.

The Baillieu Library is located on the Parkville campus. Its collection specialises in arts, humanities and social sciences, and includes Rare Books and Special Collections, and the Reading Room. It has bookable computers, project rooms and booths, audio recording facilities, and an after-hours study zone.

The Burnley Library is located on the Burnley campus. Its collection specialises in horticulture and plant sciences.

The Creswick Library is located on the Creswick campus. The collection includes historical items related to Australian forestry science and education.

The Dookie Library is located on the Dookie campus. Its collection specialises in general agriculture, animal, plant and crop science, water resources and viticulture.

The ERC Library is located on the Parkville campus. Its collection specialises in physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, biomedicine and the East Asian Collection.

The Giblin Eunson Library is on the Parkville campus. Its collection specialises in business, finance, economics, education, and teaching. It has bookable computers and project rooms, audio recording facilities and an after-hours study zone.

The Law Library is in the Law Building on the Parkville Campus. Its collection specialises in law and legal research, case law, and legislation. It has bookable computers and project rooms and after-hours study zones (for Juris Doctor and Melbourne Law Masters students).

Located on the third floor of the Baillieu Library, the Reading Room provides collection access and reference services to researchers interested in items from the University of Melbourne’s Archives and Special Collections (ASC)

The Southbank Library is on the Southbank Campus. Its collection specialises in visual and performing arts and contains a rare books and music collection. It has a recording pod, bookable computers and project rooms, and an after-hours study zone.

The J.A. Gilruth Library is on the Werribee Campus. Its collection specialises in veterinary science, surgery, pathology, and parasitology. It has a swipe access after-hours study zone for Melbourne Veterinary School staff and students.
