David Frazer has conducted many workshops in Universities, TAFES, and Community printmaking studios around Australia.
About David Frazer
David Frazer has exhibited nationally and internationally with over 35 solo exhibitions since 1996 and a number of group exhibitions and prizes throughout Australia, China, the UK and Poland. Major prizes include: 2013 People's Choice Award at the Fremantle Print Award; 2013 People's Choice Award at the Hutchins Art on Paper Prize; Winner of the 1st Guanlan International Print Biennial, China (2007); Winner of the Broken Hill Outback Art Prize (2004); Runner up in the 2007 Burnie Print prize; Acquisition prizes at the Geelong Print Prize and the Silk Cut Award for Lino cut prints. In 2007, the ABC produced a half hour documentary on David as part of the Artist at Work series. His work is represented throughout Australia and overseas including the National Gallery of Australia, the Art Gallery of NSW, the National Gallery Of Victoria, The National Library of Australia, the National Museum of China, the Royal Academy of Art in London, and most regional galleries in Australia.
About Wood Engravings
Wood engraving is an age-old relief print-making method used for creating small and highly-detailed images. It was traditionally used to illustrate books, with blocks being the same height as the letterpress characters that formed the text. It is particularly well-suited to achromatic graphic artworks, with strong contrasts (lights and darks) and areas of textured shadows.

Bruno Leti Studio Visit (walking involved)

Bruno Leti was born in Roccantica, north-east of Rome. He emigrated with his family to Australia in 1952 to live at Clonbinane and Broadford. He studied fine art and trained as a teacher at University of Melbourne, Monash University and RMIT University. Bruno taught art in Australia and Canada and travelled extensively internationally, eventually returning to Australia to post-graduate studies at RMIT and the position of Education Officer at the National Gallery of Victoria in the 1970s. After several years of teaching, he became a full-time artist, exhibiting in Australia and overseas from 1968. He lives and works in Melbourne, Australia. Leti is represented in most national, state, regional and tertiary collections in Australia including the National Gallery of Australia, as well as the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington DC and other important collections in Germany, Italy, Britain and Japan. He has won a number of major awards, including the Pollock-Krasnar Foundation Grant in New York, a State Library of Victoria Fellowship in Melbourne, and residencies at the Australian National University in Canberra, Grafica-Uno in Milan, and has been guest artist at numerous institutions.
