Researcher@Library Hack Day for Social Good
LAB-14 Carlton Connect (corner of Swanston and Grattan Streets, with main entrance on Swanston Street)
MapCalling all coders, creative thinkers, communicators, and those curious to test out new technology. Come along and be part of the Researcher@Library hack day for social good and make real changes. Help explore, visualise, map and connect a rich collection of social data from library and government including Find and Connect, AURIN, Australian Women's Register and Trove.
Bring a team, or join one on the day - everyone is welcome. There is no cost to enter, and catering will be provided by the Sorghum Sisters (a local catering social enterprise specialising in African cuisine) . We will have experts who are familiar with the data available to help you throughout the day.
Prizes donated by the University of Melbourne Library and Find & Connect. Keeping with the social good theme, these will be awarded to the charity of the winner's choice.
