​Research Platforms and the Library will present a fast-paced introduction to free digital tools, designed to support your research and help manage, share and present it in new ways. During this session you will discover:
- Plot.ly (analytics and data visualisation),
- 3D slicer (medical image analysis and scientific visualisation),
- Kimono Desktop (Application Programming Interfaces (APIs),
- TinkerCAD (digital designs for 3D printing),
- R (statistical computing and graphics),
- Reference management tools,
- Digital researcher profiles,
- ORCIDs (Open Researcher and Contributor IDs)
This session is aimed at graduate researchers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) disciplines at the University of Melbourne.
