Research Platforms and the Library will present a fast-paced introduction to free digital tools, designed to support, help manage, share and present your research in new ways. During this session you will discover: 

  • Plot.ly (analytics and data visualisation), 
  • Natural Language Toolkit (text mining, mark-up and analysis), 
  • Kimono Desktop (Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), 
  • Omeka (image repository), 
  • TinkerCAD (digital designs for 3D printing), 
  • Reference management tools 
  • Digital researcher profiles 
  • ORCIDs (Open Researcher and Contributor IDs).

This session is aimed at graduate researchers in HASS (Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences) disciplines at the University of Melbourne.
