Music Collection Level 2

One of the leading music libraries in Australia, the Louise Hanson-Dyer Music Library Collection is one of a number of University of Melbourne libraries and is open to students and staff of all faculties. The collections are diverse and comprehensive and include books, musical scores, journals, sound and video recordings, and a library of solo, chamber, orchestral and choral performing materials. Music REF Louise Hanson-Dyer Music Library Reference The reference collection consists of encyclopaedias, dictionaries, bibliographies, and other useful reference tools. This collection is not for loan.
Music Louise Hanson-Dyer Music Library Books The main book collection consists primarily of items for loan. Note different loan periods may apply e.g. 7 day and overnight.
Music DVD Louis Hanson-Dyer Music Library Digital Videodisc The DVD collection is available for loan to staff and students of the University of Melbourne. These titles are on open access on level 2 ERC and can be checked out on the DVD self-check machines. 
Music CE Louise Hanson-Dyer Music Library collected editions Collected editions are important editions of historically significant music which includes works by composers from the 12th to the 20th centuries. This collection is for use in the library only and is split between levels 2 and 3.
