The Univeristy Library's Map Collection is one of the largest such collections in Australia. It includes several hundred GIS layers, and well over 100,000 printed maps.
The Map Digital Collections are digitalisations of printed hardcopy maps held in the Map Collection. This collection contains historic maps from around the world including: the Ronald and Pamela Walker maps of Asia Minor and the Middle East, 1511-1774 and Constantinople and surrounds, 1493-1734; The Sir Peter and Lady Lloyd Collection of English County Maps, pre 1800. The collection also contains many historic Melbourne, Victorian, Australian and World Maps.
